Activism 

Advocate Ally for Native American Rights

Since 2016, I have been an advocate for the recognition and equality of Indigenous People. In my community, I have spoken on correct Indigenous history, current events, and Native culture. I facilitate Watkinson School Native American Heritage Month and organize events to celebrate the month.

 

  Aurora Foundation and Women's Rights

The Aurora Foundation for Women and Girls encourages women and girls to engage in philanthropic efforts that benefit their communities. In 2017, I had the honor of working with the foundation to increase philanthropy in my community.

MY TravEls

Spain

In July of 2017, 70 other students and I attended classes, traveled around the country and explored cultural sites, festivals and city streets. I lived with people from all over the world from Taiwan, Turkey, the Czech Republic to Australia. Majoring in International Relations with Dr. Alessandro Demurtas, I studied war and conflict, peace, what makes a country, and what makes a perfect nation. 

England

In October of 2016, the last group of Watkinson travellers took off to London, England. We studied at The Royal Holloway University, lived in the small village of Egham and soaked in all that London had to offer. Visiting Oxford, The Tate and much more, London made us all fall in love with it.
